Memoria de Octavia

NYU Graduate short film sponsored by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.  "Memoria de Octavia," tells the story of a neuroscientist, Octavia, who came to the U.S. from Mexico under asylum as a child. Using herself as a test subject, she struggles to erase memories of her past. 

La Reclusa

NYU Graduate short film. Mariela Monllor, is a recluse landlord that collects rent through a lavishly decorated rent box in the hallway. After a new tenant, accidentally destroys her rent box, she begins a written exchange that will redefine the boundaries of her world.
